Nikon Announces Projector Camera

Nikon has announced a twist on the point and shoot digital camera to their lineup. The Nikon COOLPIX s1000pj produces 12.1 megapixels, has a 5x optical and 4x digital zoom set, and a 2.7 inch LCD view screen.

How is this camera so different? It also features a projector on the front of the camera, hence the ‘pj’ planted so securely to the end of the model name.  The projector can produce a 40-inch display on the wall to show off your freshly taken photographs to your friends and family without having everyone crowd your space to look over your shoulder as you scroll through or pass your beloved gadget to possible butter-finger hands.

This camera may not snag the interest of a great many but you have to admit this is a snazzy addition to the classic digital camera. For the geeks that want to add another quirky gizmo to their collection the damage will be $429.95.
